The Lebanon Valley Chamber Intern
must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, good
decision-making skills and excellent interpersonal, organizational,
multi-tasking and time management skills.
He/she must have strong computer
skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel and must have a
demonstrated knowledge of both the web and social media. Basic marketing
skills and familiarity with database management are preferred.
He/she must be able to portray a
professional image within the organization and with the public through his/her
conduct, attitude and dress.
He/she must be a self-starter and
must be able to work well in and contribute to a team environment.
He/she should be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a College or University.
To successfully perform the responsibilities of this position, the Lebanon Valley Intern must possess a valid driver’s license, must be available for occasional early morning and evening programs and events, must be able to work under regular, moderate levels of stress and must be able to regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
