Associate Principal (Grades 9-12) or Secondary School Assistant Principal
(Grades 7-12)
Full-time, permanent, position. – Grades 7-12; PA K-12
or 7-12 Principal certification required. Strong presentation, communication
and writing skills, and excellent interpersonal skills are desired. Directly
responsible to the Superintendent of Schools. At the superintendent's
direction, the Middle School Principal/High School Associate Principal or the
Secondary School Assistant Principal is responsible for all aspects involved in
the operation of the middle school, including programs, schedules, discipline,
finances, personnel, public relations, health services, and building
maintenance. The Middle School Principal/High School Associate Principal
or the Secondary School Assistant Principal is a member of the administrative
team and, as such, attends and participates in all regularly scheduled district
meetings to assist in the overall improvement of district programs.
Supervises: Guidance counselors, nurse, psychologist,
teachers, students, administrative assistant and support personnel assigned to
the secondary school.
