Greater Lebanon Refuse Authority
About

The Greater Lebanon Refuse Authority (GLRA) is committed to serving the citizens of Lebanon County by managing a comprehensive solid waste management and recycling system in accordance with Lebanon County's Solid Waste Management Plan. The GLRA was formed under the guidance of the Regional Planning Commission in 1959. It is comprised of one representative from each of Lebanon County's twenty-six municipalities. GLRA operates the facility in a manner that protects the health and safety of the residents of Lebanon County and the quality of the environment. The facility accepts an average of 500 tons of regulated municipal solid waste from Lebanon County each day---In 2022 we accepted over 132,000 tons of waste for disposal and received 180 tons of electronics (TV’s and computers) for recycling. In late 2022, GLRA also implemented a countywide battery recycling program for rechargeable and one-time use batteries up to 11 pounds.
