Lebanon Bicycle Recycle, a community-driven initiative committed to making ourcommunity a better place through bicycles, is excited to announce a series of bikemechanics classes aimed at empowering individuals with the skills to confidently fixbikes and support our mission of repairing bicycles for the community. The program,which welcomes participants of all skill levels, will be conducted in both English and Spanish.
The four comprehensive classes will cover essential bike repair techniques and providehands-on experience to participants. Whether you are a novice or an experiencedmechanic, Lebanon Bicycle Recycle invites you to join our classes, learn new skills andsupport our work. The classes will be held every Monday from January 29th - February 19th from 6-8pm at our location, 53 Chestnut Street, Lebanon, PA.
To register for the classes, interested individuals can emailLebanonBicycleRecycle@gmail.com. Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
In addition to the training classes, Lebanon Bicycle Recycle accepts bike and bike partdonations from the community. We encourage and train volunteers and riders to fixdonated bicycles, promoting a commitment to lifelong riding and sustainable transportation. Our community bike shop is open every Monday from April to December, providing a supportive environment for individuals to participate in the“Earn A Bike Program”, share skills, and contribute to the cycling community. Appointments are necessary and can be made in person or by email.
Lebanon Bicycle Recycle is always seeking volunteers to support our programs. We are looking for experienced bike mechanics, helpers for minor repairs, shop support fororganizing supplies, volunteer coordinators, event hosts, and bike collectors. If you arepassionate about bicycles and want to make a positive impact in our community, weinvite you to join our team.
