Lebanon County Suicide Prevention Task Force Seeks Sponsorships for Bingo Fundraiser

Dear Community Partner:
I am writing on behalf of the Lebanon County Suicide Prevention Task Force, a subsidiary of the Community Health Council of Lebanon County, a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization. September is recognized as National Suicide Prevention Month. Nationally, 1 person dies from suicide every 11.1 minutes. Since 2015, 143 individuals have died from suicide in Lebanon County. With the hope of preventing another loss, we will be hosting events that promote awareness and access to services, many of which will be free to the community.
On August 27, 2023, we are hosting an all-cash bingo as our kick-off to our September events. This event will benefit the furtherance of our suicide prevention efforts within the county. Since this is a fundraising event, we are asking local businesses, individuals, and organizations to help support our efforts. We are asking if you would be willing to donate a raffle basket. Your generosity will be noted on the day’s materials as a proud sponsor of the event.
