Lebanon County Area Agency on Aging Will Once Again Coordinate the Distribution of the SFMNP checks

LEBANON COUNTY AREA AGENCY ON AGING WILL ONCE AGAIN COORDINATE THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE SFMNP CHECKS.
In-person Distribution
If you have missed our scheduled in-person distribution sites in the community, you can still pick up your checks in person at the Lebanon County Area Agency on Aging building every Thursday from 2:30pm-4:00pm. We will be located just inside the front Maple Street entrance to the building. Also, applications are still being accepted through the mail/email.
Lebanon County (August 23, 2022) – The Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program from the PA Department of Agriculture is (A) to provide seniors resources in the form of fresh, nutritious, unprepared fruits and vegetables from farmer’s markets and (B) to expand the awareness and use of farmer’s markets. Check distribution between June 1, 2022 and September 30, 2022, or until all gone. Checks expire November 30, 2022.
Seniors qualify be being 60 years of age or older by December 31, 2022. There are income limits based on the entire household. These limits have increased since last year.
Qualifying seniors will receive four $6.00 checks to be used at approved vendors for PA grown produce. A list of local vendors will go with the checks. There is also a FMNP Market locator App for android and apple devices.
To receive a mailed application, Lebanon County seniors should call the Area Agency on Aging, or print the application from our website.
