Manufacturers’ Association Announces Incoming Board of Directors
President, Mike Granby & Vice President Jonathon Crothers
(York,
PA) – Mike Granby, of York, PA was named President and Jonathan Crothers, of
Lancaster, PA, was named Vice President of the Board of Directors of the
Manufacturers’ Association both will assume
their new roles at the next board meeting in late May. The
Association, founded in 1906, is the voice of manufacturing for hundreds of
member & non-member organizations in southcentral PA & northern
MD. The Association supports
manufacturers with the knowledge they need to operate, hire & train
smarter.
Mike Granby, President of Granby Consulting,
is dual citizen of both
the United States and United Kingdom. He was also named one of the Central
Pennsylvania Business Journal’s ‘Forty Under Forty’ listing in 2007. Granby is
the former President of Red Lion Controls, a manufacturing technology
enterprise in York, and served as Managing Director and founder of Paradigm
Controls Ltd. and as Technical Director of Overseer Systems Ltd. of Chesterfield England. Mike is an
instrument-rated private pilot, Angel Flight volunteer, and a published author
in several aviation magazines.
Jonathan Crothers, Continuous Improvement
Coordinator and a 14-year employee of Stoner, Inc. of Lancaster, PA, who is
leading producer of products used in household automotive and thermoforming
industries. Crothers has a bachelor’s degree in biology
from Penn State University and an MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple
University. In
his current role at Stoner, he is responsible for efficiency improvement and is
a member of the strategy deployment team. Crothers previously served as a
research and development scientist for 8 years and holds Six Sigma Black Belt and
Lean Certifications.
Mike Granby & Jonathan Crothers were voted
into their new roles as President & Vice President at the Manufacturers’
Association’s Board of Directors meeting on March 23rd.
