VINCENT R. BOLTZ TO REBRAND AS RHOADS ENERGY MOVE WILL STREAMLINE OPERATIONS FOR AFFILIATE OF REGIONAL ENERGY LEADER LANCASTER, Pa.
There’s a new name for Vincent R. Boltz, the heating, cooling, and plumbing company that has served the Lebanon area since 1925. The good news: the community will still be served by the same team of familiar faces. In 2015, Boltz joined the Rhoads Energy Family of Companies, a locally based energy provider that has served the region for more than 100 years. At that time, long-time owner Bob Boltz believed merging his company with Rhoads Energy was the ideal fit - and the best way to maintain hometown, high-quality service for his customers. Now, after six years continuing to operate under the Boltz brand, the company will transition to the Rhoads Energy name and logo. The change will enable the company to streamline operations, maintain lower costs, and consolidate a large regional service team under one umbrella. During planning about the transition, Rhoads Energy consulted with Bob Boltz, still a key figure in the industry who provided valuable insight into the community. “Our team has been partnered with Rhoads since 2015, so it’s time to make the switch,” Boltz said. “Consolidation is a good move for name recognition, and it will put an end to a lot of confusion.” Customers will still be served by the same delivery team, technicians, and office staff. The company’s location and phone numbers will remain the same, as will online account access for customers. In the near future, the community will notice some changes. The Rhoads Energy name will appear on vehicles, uniforms, and signage. Online, the Boltz website will begin to redirect to the Rhoads Energy website, which will provide more detailed information on services and a blog section offering tips. “We’re excited about this latest chapter in the long history of Boltz, but the key is that our exceptional team in Lebanon will remain intact,” said Michael DeBerdine, CEO of Rhoads Energy. “We expect a very smooth transition for our customers.” DeBerdine noted that both Boltz and Rhoads have decades-long track records of community support initiatives - a tradition that will continue in Lebanon during and after the transition to the Rhoads Energy brand. # # # The Rhoads Energy Family of Companies offer heating oil, natural gas, and propane delivery; complete HVAC installation and service; and fleet fueling services.
