Albright LIFE Receives Grant
Lebanon, PA
09/15/2020 10:36 AM
Albright LIFE Lebanon has a new awning for their patio, thanks to a grant from Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church.  The awning will provide shade for Albright LIFE participants to enjoy the outdoor patio during their visits to the LIFE Center.

Marisa Gawrys, Program Director for Albright LIFE Lebanon said, “Having community partners such as Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church is what makes Lebanon County special.  Neighbors support their neighbors, even during a pandemic.”

The Albright LIFE program provides qualified individuals a variety of daily services, so they can stay living in their homes independently for as long as possible. Presently, Albright LIFE Lebanon is serving 61 participants throughout the county of Lebanon. Normally, participants are transported to the LIFE center to spend the day there, but due to the pandemic, those who are coming to the center are there to see a physician, or to attend a specialist appointment. Due to COVID-19, most of Albright’s services are being offered primarily in the participants homes.

Albright Care Services offers three LIFE Center locations throughout Pennsylvania, including Williamsport, Lebanon and Lancaster. Albright LIFE is Pennsylvania’s version of the nationally recognized Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). Albright LIFE is an affiliate of Albright Care Services, a faith-based (United Methodist), non-profit organization providing senior care and dynamic retirement living.
