Hoaster Gebhard & Co., an independent insurance and risk management firm, announced today that Christopher Gebhard has been awarded the Accredited Cyber Risk Advisor (ACRA) designation by the Beyond Insurance Global Network. The Accredited Cyber Risk Advisor is a unique type of insurance advisor who understands today’s broad range of cyber exposures, regulations and claims facing businesses both nationally and internationally.
The ACRA professional designation consists of a fast-paced, deep dive into the complex world of cyber insurance, to train and certify select industry professionals in cyber security best practices. The ACRA program is comprised of a rigorous training curriculum, designed to teach participants how to implement a proprietary Cyber IQRM Risk Management audit, identify client specific cyber exposures, and design comprehensive risk management plans, all while using real-world situations. To earn the designation, the ACRA candidate must successfully complete an exam to measure retention and expertise in this risk area.
