Developmental and Disability Services of Lebanon Valley Hires New Employment Specialist
(Lebanon, PA) Developmental and Disability Services of Lebanon Valley (DDS) is pleased to introduce Hanna Scipioni as the newest member of the DDS Job Coaching Team. As an Employment Specialist, she will assist adults with intellectual disabilities find and maintain employment in the community. Ms. Scipioni is a Cedar Crest graduate who earned her degree from West Chester University in Public Health. Upon graduation, she worked in various positions in the human services field. Through her experiences she developed a passion working for people with disabilities. “I enjoy helping people,” and want to be successful in getting jobs for clients so that they are successful,” she added. In addition to working one-on-one with clients, Ms. Scipioni will explore opportunities with local employers for job development.
DDS began its’ Job Coaching Program in 1987 and has cultivated positive working relationships with businesses throughout Lebanon and neighboring counties. Through gainful employment individuals are able to achieve greater independence and live more satisfying and fruitful lives in our communities. DDS Program Manager, Ellen Imboden, said that she would like to develop more opportunities for people to gain positive work experiences through greater community engagement.
