Danielle Sanders Promoted to Deputy Director

Ms. Danielle Sanders, currently employed as Halcyon Mental Health Program Director, has been named Deputy Director/MH Program Coordinator. In addition to her duties with the MH Program, Ms. Sanders will assist the Executive Director with the preparation of financial reports, track information, payroll and the annual budget; confer with Board members, county staff persons and allied agency staff members to discuss issues, coordinate activities, and resolve problems; plan assign, and supervise the work of others; and stand-in as Acting Executive Director in the absence of the Executive Director.
Ms. Sanders brings a wealth of experience working with people experiencing trauma and psychological distress in the military. She serves our county as Behavioral Health NCO (Non-Commissioned Officer) in the PA Army National Guard. She is a certified Emergency Medical Technician trained in CPR/AED/BLS and completed specialized training in behavioral health, suicide awareness , and leadership. She is a graduate of Pennsylvania's Millersville University with a BA in Psychology. She earned a Master of Public Health degree in August of 2017 from Liberty University, located in Lynchburg, Virginia.
