Jonestown, PA - November 23, 2016: Jonestown Bank & Trust Co. (JBT) is pleased to announce the bank has pledged a total of $28,500 to United Way of Lebanon County. The funds will go toward the current 2016-17 fundraising campaign. Of the total donation, JBT employees contributed $26,000, and the bank added $2,500. The announcement was made at United Way’s Campaign Update Luncheon held recently at Foundry Craft Grillery in Lebanon, PA. Troy A. Peters, President and CEO, noted, “United Way is an important partner in our local community. The organization continues to support the Lebanon Valley in so many ways, and for so many years. I am thrilled, but not really surprised, that the commitment of our staff at JBT has realized this pledge amount. Our company and our employees are focused on giving back and making sure the community continues to grow, and those in need have access to services and support. I encourage other businesses and individuals to help the United Way reach its campaign fundraising goal this year.” Founded in 1873, JBT currently has assets of more than $490 million. JBT operates twelve offices serving customers in Lebanon County, Lancaster County, and surrounding areas. The bank’s thirteenth location is planned to open in Manheim during 2017.
