First National Bank (FNB) has been an integral part of the Pennsylvania business community for more than 150 years. Today, FNB provides comprehensive financial solutions through more than 300 offices across four states, including 70 branches in its Capital Region, which consists of 17 counties in Central and Eastern Pennsylvania, including Lebanon County.

Demonstrating unprecedented growth, FNB is now the second-largest bank headquartered in Pennsylvania. FNB has total pro-forma assets of more than $20 billion, including the recent merger with Metro Bank and planned acquisition of Pittsburgh-area Fifth Third Branches, and holds a top retail deposit share in three major metropolitan statistical areas: Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Cleveland.

FNB’s merger with Harrisburg-based Metro Bank, completed in February 2016, has deepened its presence in Central Pennsylvania. In addition to 32 former Metro branches joining its network, FNB now holds a top three retail deposit share in Harrisburg.

Despite this rapid growth, FNB has maintained its focus on hometown service, especially by prioritizing local decision-making by bankers who understand the industry, people and economy of the regions they serve. FNB works closely with local businesses, providing the capital, financial products and consultation they need to achieve their goals while driving economic development and job growth in their communities.

With leadership from Tony Sacco, regional president, and Greg Conrad, regional banking executive, along with further local guidance from Susan Davis, market manager, the hundreds of FNB employees in the region deliver on the company’s culture of service in the communities where they live and work. FNB employees give their time as board members of local organizations and performed nearly 20,000 hours of volunteer service in 2015. Across the company, FNB invests in the community through financial support for local organizations, partnerships such as the bank’s sponsorship of the Harrisburg Senators baseball park, FNB Field, and in engagement with economic development groups, such as Team Pennsylvania Foundation.

FNB’s success is recognized by others, both for performance and as a top workplace. Leadership believes that an engaged workforce delivers an exceptional customer experience, which is reflected in the bank’s numerous national and regional awards from Greenwich Associates, including honors for “Excellence in Banking” and as a “Best Brand for Trust and Ease of Doing Business in Small Business Banking."

As customers’ preferences evolve, so too have FNB’s products and services. By investing in new technology, FNB better serves its customers with convenient options, including online banking, an upgraded mobile banking platform and a regional fleet of new ATMs with TellerChat. These interactive ATMs were introduced at a number of branches added through FNB’s merger with Metro Bank. An ATM with TellerChat is available in Lebanon County at FNB’s Palmyra office at 903 East Main Street. FNB offers commercial banking, consumer banking and wealth management solutions such as corporate banking, small business banking, investment real estate financing, international banking, business credit, capital markets, lease financing, deposit products, mortgage lending, asset management, private banking and insurance.
