Jonestown Bank & Trust Co. (JBT) earned the 147th spot in the 2015 list of Top 200 Community Banks and Thrifts, as ranked nationally by American Banker magazine. JBT is ranked 25th among 32 Pennsylvania-based banks listed, and is the only community bank in Lebanon and Lancaster Counties appearing on the list. A total of 750 community banks and thrifts nationwide were qualified to be evaluated by three-year average Return On Average Equity (ROAE), and rankings were based on an analysis of data compiled by SNL Financial. JBT had an average of 9.54% to earn its place on the list for the seventh consecutive year. The median average among all 750 institutions was 6.51%.
