Barley Snyder is pleased to announce the Central Penn Business Journal has named partner Katherine Betz Kravitz to its 2024 “Women of Influence” list.
The Women of Influence award recognizes high-achieving women for their career accomplishments. Honorees, selected by CPBJ’s editorial team, have been chosen based on their professional experience, community involvement and commitment to mentoring.
“I am grateful to the Central Penn Business Journal for this wonderful recognition,” said Kravitz. “Congratulations to my fellow honorees; you are an inspiration to me, and the community in which we all live, work, dream and build our lives.
Kravitz is the chair of Barley Snyder’s Health Care Industry Group and a member of its Litigation Practice Group. She is also Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Health Law Committee. In her more than 30 years of practice, Kathy has served as counselor and problem-solver for health care providers throughout Pennsylvania, including hospitals and physicians, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospices, home health and home care agencies.
Deeply committed to her community, Kravitz has served on several boards and committees of local nonprofits. She currently serves as a member of the Touchstone Foundation’s Access Committee, a member of the Lancaster Chamber’s Excellence Exchange Advisory Committee, a member of the Lancaster General Health Foundation’s Women’s Giving Circle and its Wine Heart Gala Planning Committee, and a member of United Way Women United. Kathy has previously served in leadership roles on the board of directors for the Lancaster Osteopathic Health Foundation (now the Touchstone Foundation), the American Heart Association - Lancaster, and Mental Health America of Lancaster County.
