Northwest Bank, a full-service
financial institution offering a complete line of business and personal banking
products, today announced the appointments of Traci Unal and Chris Flores as
C&I commercial relationship managers, serving the Lancaster-Lebanon and
Dauphin communities.
“We’re pleased to welcome Traci and Chris to the Eastern Pennsylvania Commercial Banking Group, where they will join veteran commercial banker Leonard Mialki,” said Michael McCarty, C&I commercial market executive. “Together, their diverse business banking experiences will make them a valuable asset to our growing team.”
As C&I commercial relationship managers, Unal and Flores will serve as trusted business advisors to clients – providing a full range of banking solutions to meet their financial objectives and needs, while establishing a network of referral sources and Centers of Influence with regular calling efforts to generate new business opportunities. They will also be responsible for managing a portfolio of relationships and ensuring an exceptional client experience, while appropriately managing risk, credit quality and servicing in accordance with Northwest standards and in partnership with a portfolio management team.
Unal has held various roles throughout her 26 years at Northwest Bank, most recently serving as senior business banker and regional vice president in the Lebanon and Dauphin markets. Previously, she served as business banker and manager of the bank’s Palmyra office.
Prior to joining Northwest, Flores served as a commercial banking relationship manager at Truist.
Of her new opportunity, Unal said, “I look forward to leveraging my previous business banking experiences to help provide our customers with exceptional banking solutions.”
Flores added, “I’m excited to join Northwest Bank as a C&I commercial relationship manager and help oversee the bank’s diverse customer portfolio and relationships.”
Unal earned certificates from the PA Bankers School of Commercial Lending and Advanced School of Banking as well as Omega-Identifying and Assessing Quality of Loans. Active in her community, Unal is an advisory board member for the Salvation Army of Lebanon Corps, sits on the golf committee of the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce and volunteers with the Lebanon-Lancaster Habitat for Humanity. Unal currently resides in Lebanon, Pennsylvania with her husband, Safak, and two children.
Flores earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Penn State University as well as a Master’s in Business Administration from the College of William and Mary. He serves on the board of directors for the YMCA of the Roses and the Manheim Township Educational Foundation, in addition to teaching water polo. Currently, Flores resides in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with his wife, Stephanie, and two children.
