BELCO TO OPEN NEW
LEBANON BRANCH JUNE 22
HARRISBURG, PA (JUNE 12, 2020) – Belco
Community Credit Union will open a new branch office at 2217 W. Cumberland St.
in Lebanon on Monday, June 22. The office will replace the credit union‘s
existing Lebanon branch located at 1232 S. Fifth Ave., which has been closed
since March 16, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The
new facility, directly in front of the Lebanon Valley Mall, was the previous
home of First Citizens Bank, and features a larger interior, improved parking,
multi-lane drive-thru, drive-up ATM, and night deposit box.
“We are very excited to open
this new facility to better serve our current and future members in the Lebanon
area,” said Amey Sgrignoli, President & CEO. “We are confident this larger,
more accessible branch will accommodate our growing membership and the greater
community we serve.”
Credit union employees will
initially be serving members through the drive-thru lanes only, as Belco
continues to prioritize the safety of its members and employees. Drive-thru
hours will be Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm and Saturday, 9am to 12pm. The
drive-up ATM will be available 24/7.
Craig Connelly has served as the Branch Manager in Lebanon
since 2014. Connelly resides in the Lebanon area, and is a graduate of Lebanon
Valley College. In 2017, he received the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce‘s
Ambassador of the Year Award for his community involvement.
Currently, Belco has 14 branches and more than 67,000 members and
$633 million in assets. Membership is open to those who live, work, worship,
volunteer or attend school in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon,
Perry and York counties.
