Lebanon Valley Chamber President & CEO Appointed to Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council

The Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that President and CEO, Karen Groh, was recently appointed to the Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council. She will have a four-year term on the council. George Book, President and CEO of the West Shore Chamber of Commerce, was also appointed.
“When I was asked to serve on this important Council, it was quickly evident that I could be a voice for our business community who is greatly impacted by the ongoing escalation of employee health benefit costs,” said Groh.
The Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council is an independent state agency responsible for addressing the problem of escalating health costs, ensuring the quality of health care, and increasing access for all citizens regardless of ability to pay. The council is funded through the Pennsylvania state budget.
