The Lebanon Valley Chamber Foundation is excited to be offering micro-grants to small businesses and non-profits. Depending upon applications, up to $40,000 in total funding may be awarded by the end of 2024.
The grants – up to $3,000 per organization – are to be utilized in four categories including professional development, paid internships, business improvements, and technology upgrades. Professional development grants equip staff with essential skills, fostering innovation and productivity. Paid internships create opportunities for young people paving the way for future employment and economic advancement. Business improvement grants enable small enterprises to enhance their facilities and services, while IT upgrade grants ensure these entities can compete in an increasingly digital marketplace. Collectively, these grants stimulate economic activity, create jobs, and promote inclusivity, ultimately leading to a more resilient and prosperous local economy.
“We are thrilled to launch this initiative. The micro-grants have the potential to significantly enhance local businesses and non-profits ultimately driving greater economic growth in our county,” said Karen Groh, President & CEO of both the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Lebanon Valley Chamber Foundation.
Applications for the grants are open from September 9-October 21. Grants will be announced December 9 and distributed January 2, 2025. The application can be completed online or downloaded. To access the application and additional information please visit https://lvchamber.org/foundationgrants/.
