This hands-on workshop will explore moving your career forward with mentoring, the benefits of mentoring, characteristics of a good mentor, where to find a mentor, importance of self-reflection, responsibilities, expectations and challenges of mentoring.
Guest facilitator for the evening will be Cheryl Batdorf, Financial Adviser for Edward Jones.
Cheryl is passionate about helping people especially in her current role at Edward Jones assisting people with their financial needs. Prior to Edward Jones Cheryl worked in higher education as an administrator for HACC, Lebanon Valley College and Millersville University. Her career started as a controller out of college at Kapp Advertising where she met her 1st mentor. To this day Cheryl works closely with her mentor.
Cheryl has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Masters from Lebanon Valley College and a Doctorate of Business from Argosy University.
