First Meeting of the MNGAS Business Advisory Council

10/16/2018 12:13 PM

You are cordially invited to participate in the 1st meeting of the PNGAS Business Advisory Council at 1:30 pm, Friday, November 9, 2018, Federal Room, Lancaster Convention Center.

PNGAS is establishing the PNGAS Business Advisory Council (BAC) to increase the number of businesses, organizations and jobs that are Guard-friendly for members, veterans of the Guard and their families. Once established, the Council will meet semi-annually or oftener. The Council shall be chaired by Brigadier General (Retired) Wilbur E. Wolf, III, who brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the military and private industry. With your participation and input in the Council, PNGAS wants to learn what’s important and changing in your organizations and listen to your good ideas on where PNGAS should be positioning itself in the future to best help members of the Guard.

Good jobs with promotion opportunities for members, veterans and family members are critical for recruitment and retention strategies for the Pennsylvania National Guard. So, we want to review, discuss and learn your ideas for PNGAS to attract and showcase Guard-Friendly Businesses and Guard-Friendly-Jobs.

The Pennsylvania National Guard Associations (“PNGAS”) is the only organization solely dedicated to the 19,438 members and more than 67,000 veterans of the Pennsylvania National Guard and their families. Over the next 12 months, the Pennsylvania National Guard must recruit more than 2,300 new members to replace Guard members that have completed their commitments and/or retired. Accordingly, PNGAS activities help ensure the Pennsylvania National Guard is fully funded, manned, equipped, and trained to perform their mission and that members and veterans have the benefits they have earned.

Please join us at the 1st meeting of the PNGAS Business Advisory Council. So, we have a good room count, please RSVP by email to Kathy Fabrizi at rsvp@PNGAS.org.
