Barley Snyder
continues to grow and expand its group of attorneys, as the firm recently hired
five new associates.
All five joined the firm in September of
2024, later receiving news of passing the
Pennsylvania Bar Exam in October.
The five new attorneys are:
Anthony P. Austin - Austin returns to Barley
Snyder after participating in the firm’s Summer Associate Program in 2023. A
graduate of Penn State Dickinson Law, Austin brings a passion for business,
real estate and tax law to the firm. He has had numerous internships
throughout his educational career, interning for the Pennsylvania Office of
Attorney General – Bureau of Consumer Protection and for the Pennsylvania
Treasury – Board of Finance and Revenue. He also worked as a summer associate
for another regional law firm based in Harrisburg. Austin earned his
undergraduate degree in Business Management with honors from Penn State
University. He is based in the firm’s Lancaster office.
R. Caleb Doyle – A member of the firm’s Litigation Practice
Group, Doyle is a graduate of Boston College Law
School and a summa cum laude graduate of the York College of
Pennsylvania where he earned his degree in two years. He worked as a summer associate at a Delaware based law firm in the
areas of corporate litigation and bankruptcy. In addition, Doyle completed a
legal externship at the Office of the New York State Attorney General’s office
and a legal internship at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. He also worked
as a settlement coordinator at a real estate/estate planning law firm in
Delaware and as a paralegal at a small law firm in York. Doyle is based in
the firm’s York office.
Michael A. Jannuzzi – A member of the firm’s Intellectual
Property Practice Group, Jannuzzi returns
to Barley Snyder after completing a co-op at the firm. During that time, he
worked alongside the IP attorneys and gained
hands-on experience. Jannuzzi is a cum
laude graduate from the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline
School of Law where he finished in the top 15% of his class. He received
his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University. Jannuzzi
previously served as a summer associate at a niche intellectual property law
firm where he worked on claim drafting, prior art searches, and other matters
relating to patent prosecution. He is based in the firm’s Malvern office.
Jonah P. Markle – Markle returns to Barley Snyder after working as a
Summer Associate at the firm in 2023. He is a graduate of the University of
Pittsburgh School of Law and a summa cum laude graduate of Duquesne
University. Most recently, Markle worked as a
Certified Legal Intern in the University of Pittsburgh School of Law’s Elder
Law Clinic and Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic where he represented clients in
guardianship proceedings and helped them with drafting testamentary documents.
He also completed an internship with a small law firm in the Pittsburgh area. Markle
is based in the firm’s Reading office.
Curtis J. Tokach – Tokach returns to Barley
Snyder after participating in the firm’s Summer Associate Program in 2023. He
is a magna cum laude graduate of Saint Joseph’s University and a
summa cum laude graduate of Widener University Commonwealth Law School
where he finished third in his class and served as Internal Managing Editor of
the Widener Commonwealth Law Review. While in law school, Tokach worked as a
judicial clerkship extern for the Honorable Susan E. Schwab, U.S. Magistrate
Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of
Pennsylvania, where he gained substantial hands-on legal experience. Tokach is
based in the firm’s Harrisburg office.
