DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND QUALIFICATION:

This position is a contractual position to provide home buying education. This position requires a minimum of some general knowledge and/or experience in the home buying process. Duties include, but are not limited to providing education instruction to the general-public interested in becoming a homebuyer; recording attendance; handing out and collecting surveys; scheduling speakers for class; maintaining relationship and correspondence with Council members; preparing handouts for the class.

• Learn the overall workings of home buying and homeownership process to develop an understanding of the various housing options available.
• Provide basic information to people wanting information about Home Education.
• Organize the logistics for classes including locations, arrange speakers, prepare workshop materials, assist with updating materials and forms, inform council partners, community members and customers of events and education opportunities.
• Assist with facilitation of regular scheduled workshops.
• Play key role by answering customer questions, schedule participants, tracking attendance, administering and collecting survey information, coordinate event logistics, site setup, and present at workshops.
