Higher Information Group Acquires Dauphin County Based Mailing & Printing Solutions Firm
Higher Information Group, LLC (HIG) is excited to announce that Armstrong Printery, Inc. (API) was acquired by HIG on October 1, 2018. John Frisch, President of HIG stated.
Kevin Lutz, President of API has joined HIG as the Sales Director of the Mail and Print Division. API is a privately held company that has been located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for the past 80 years. API will relocate its production facility to HIG’s print and mail facility in York, Pennsylvania. API's service capabilities will continue to be offered by HIG and include: Graphic Design, Short and Long-run Printing, Bindery and Mailing Services.
Acquisitions continue to be a key part of HIG’s growth strategy to expand its solutions offering. This is the second acquisition by HIG in 2018. HIG acquired Pennsylvania Telephone Products, Inc. to widen its variety of business telecommunications solutions ranging from the latest VoIP (Voice Over IP) systems to digital telephone and voicemail systems. HIG's been able to elevate staffing numbers from 13 in 2001 in to over 100 employees in 2018 across four major markets including Harrisburg, York, Lancaster and Philadelphia.
