Shipley Energy is installing York County’s first public compressed natural gas fueling station at the Pacific Pride station located on Mill Road in York. It will open in November of this year. Compressed natural gas “costs 40 percent less than gasoline and diesel and cuts overall emissions by up to 30 percent.” The new station will help to meet the increasing demand for fuel alternatives. Lebanon County will sell a 4.25-acre area of land located in South Lebanon Township to BT Management LLC, a development company out of Altoona. The property will be sold for $700,000. (Source: CPBJ.com)

 

The Lebanon Valley Economic Development Corporation was recently awarded a $2 million, 15-year loan to develop a cold storage food facility for an “apparent bakery operation that could create 131 jobs in North Lebanon Township over the next three years.” The $14.7 million facility would be constructed on 23 acres in the Lebanon Rails Business Park. The LVEDC also received a $400,000 loan to help expand Curvin and Dawn Good’s poultry operation, which is part of Bell & Evans' network. (Source: CPBJ.com)
