JA in a Day

JA in a Day
Junior Achievement of South Central PA is collaborating with the Lebanon City schools to provide JA to all students.  We will be hosting JA in a Day for all 2nd-4th graders.
• What is "JA in a Day" ?
A high impact way to deliver Junior Achievement programs for a particular grade level all in the same day. Some schools choose to have every grade receive JA programming on the same day. “JA in a Day” is a unique opportunity as it offers volunteers a great opportunity to get involved with Junior Achievement without juggling schedule conflicts or long-term commitments.
• What do volunteers do?
The volunteers will be provided instructions to go through our online orientation prior to the event.  They will obtain the necessary classroom guides and teacher assignments. On the day of the event, volunteers will receive all necessary program materials to conduct the sessions in the assigned classrooms. Volunteers will lead all five sessions/activities throughout the day to one classroom of students.  The sessions involve financial literacy, careers and entrepreneurship.

Bridges Forward Imagine New Horizons

Please join the administration and board of trustees of Evangelical Banquet as we imagine a bright future for our students, our alumni, our institution, and our communities.

Guest Speaker: Bishop Michael W. Sigman

Bishop Sigman began as Senior Pastor at Grace Community Church in Willow Street in Southern Lancaster County in 2011. Over the last six years, the church has experienced exponential growth, with the average attendance in worship moving from 300 to 950. Mike is leading the church in a building program that will double the number of parking spaces then build a Children's Ministry Center.

From 2008 to 2011, Mike served as preseident of Evangelical Seminary, the same institution from which he earned his Master of Divinity degree in 1986. His return to the pastorate reflects his desire to be involved in the day-to-day life of a local church, watching God shape and mold people into faithfu disciples of Jesus Christ. Prior to 2008, Mike served as a Bishop of the Evangelical Congregational Church for nine years.
