CLA Summer Luncheon
The annual Lebanon Area Fair is one of the area's popular family events of the year. The next CLA luncheon will get you in the mood for this great local tradition. Enjoy a picnic-style luncheon with hamburgers, hot dogs, and all the trimmings and side dishes. This fun program will feature a panel of fair experts to fill us in on the history of the event as well as a sneak preview of what to expect this year.

The Human Society of Lebanon County is a 501 c (3) nonprofit organization and receives no funding from the state of Pennsylvania, or the national Human Society or the ASPCA. The Lebanon County Historical Society sponsors lecture and exhibit programs. All programs are held in the Reese Memorial Hall at 1:30 PM, unless noted otherwise. Young Villagers Colonial Workshop
This four day workshop is held for students entering the 4th grade through 7th grade. The children will have the opportunity to learn about life in the eighteenth and ninteenth centuries. Children will work with craftspeople, making traditionsl crafts to take home as well as learning about period of farms and home activities.
Activities May Include:
Working with flax, small animals, plushwork stars, bake in squirrel tail oven, cooking, archaeology, fraktur, PA German, treenware, snitzelbank, making fireplace broom, scherenschnitte paper cutting, and making Colonial toys.
ALL CHILDREN REQUIRE REGISTRATION IN ADVANCE AND PAYMENT IN FULL BY TUESDAY, JULY 11, 2017:
$45.00 for children/grandchildren of a current HSI member
$65.00 for children of non-members
