Lebanon County is a diverse and unique community of neighbors with needs spanning far beyond any one individual's front door. The United Way of Lebanon County is dedicated to assessing, discussing, and solving these needs every day.

Join the conversation as we share initial findings from the 2017 Community Needs Assessment and solicit your feedback. The assessment is being completed in partnership with Penn State University’s Center for Survey Research.   You will also have an opportunity to learn more about what the United Way is doing in Lebanon and how you can make great change happen today.

Capital City Airport (CXY), located along Old York Road near New Cumberland, will host Capital City Airport Community Day on Saturday, June 17th from 9am to 2pm, celebrating over 75 years of private and general aviation flying at CXY.  Admission and parking are free.

The event is a celebration of corporate and general aviation. Private and corporate aircraft will be on display and visitors can speak to aircraft owners and pilots about learning to fly and the important role general aviation plays in our community.  Helicopter rides can be purchased and attendees can register to win a free introductory flight lesson from Cargill Aviation!

Local police, EMS, and fire companies will be represented while refreshments will be available for purchase benefitting a local non-profit organization.

Businesses located at Capital City Airport support more than 20,000 annual operations, more than 200 jobs and generate a $42 million annual economic impact on the region.  

Lebanon, PA- Community members partnered up with RE:Create of Lebanon, PA to provide the fifth annual “Spinstock” event for children and families at Sixth Street playground. All ages will be able to spend this Saturday experiencing a culture of arts and local music. Once a year, residents of our neighborhood are invited to embrace the world of hula hooping, yoga, alternative healing, dance, crafts, and fun.

It is a completely free event with donations accepted. “It is imperative that we keep the event free to all who come because this was the original idea with the first event in 2012.” Spinstock is in it's fifth year and has a tradition of painting a live picture of what Lebanon's diverse culture creates as a support system for all walks of life.

Free and open to the public.

The Washington Band of Annville is performing the Summer Solstice Concert at Hill Farm Estate. We also will have refreshments and a silent auction. No RSVP necessary. Come and enjoy good music, food, and a chance to win the auction. The winner will conduct Stars and Stripes with the conductor's baton.

Walk with Lebanon Mayor Sherry Capello on a 1 mile fun walk through the south sector of the City and receive a FREE pedometer, a bottle of water and health tips from a Lebanon YMCA Health Coach.

Walk with the Mayor is also offered in the north sector of the City on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 6:30 PM, and downtown on Tuesday, August 22, 2017.   

Walk with the Mayor is part of the City of Lebanon Healthy Community Summer Program, in partnership with the Lebanon Valley Family YMCA. 

Free Yoga in the Park classes will be held this summer in Lebanon County. The free classes help improve balance, increase flexibility and strength, and decrease stress and fatigue.

Sessions will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays, July 5 to 26.

Participants should bring a yoga mat or beach towel and water. A strap or old necktie and a blanket are optional. Classes canceled due to rain will not be rescheduled. Registration is required.
