Each year, United Way organizes Lebanon County's largest volunteer day, Day of Caring, where hundreds of local people volunteer from 9 am to noon at numerous non-profit, park and city facilities performing an array of volunteer work.  Projects available range from gardening, painting and fence repairs, to office organization, cleaning and delivering greeting cards to the elderly.  No matter how you like to give back, there's a volunteer job for everyone on Day of Caring - all ages welcome!     

All volunteers will receive a free breakfast (donated by local restuarants, grocers and distributors), and a free T-shirt for volunteering.

American Cancer Society Bark for Life of Lebanon County A Canine Event to Fight Cancer.

The American Cancer Society Bark For Life^TM is a noncompetitive walk event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer.

By supporting Bark For Life, you help the American Cancer Society save lives, and that helps us move closer to our ultimate goal of a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

So bring your best canine friend and join us for a fun-filled day starting with a walk, and then continuing with demonstrations, contests, and games.

United Way welcomes you to join us for our first Annual "Spring Into Reading Fest" at the Lebanon Community Library. We will offer fun, free, hands-on activities for kids ages 8 and under and resources for families which include:

• Music by the one and only STEVEN COURTNEY
• Book readings and puppet shows
• Food
• Activity and resource tables

*The first 300 families will recieve a free literacy kit including a book from the imagination library and other educational resources.
